tenderness that I crumbled,
and woke to find myself in
a labyrinth of longing,
where I now wander, lost,
aching to go to my lover.

मोहे सुध-बुध ना रही तन-मन की
ये तो जाने दुनिया सारी

Love's song shattered my consciousness,
and slipped the reins of my thoughts
from my grasp,
All the world witnessed this, my sad plight,
and yet it did not speak.

बेबस और लाचार फिरूँ मैं
हारी मैं दिल हारी।
